Since the release of the first The Negative One off their new album .5:The Gray Chapter, we have been trying to figure out who the new drummer was in the band never thinking that they had a new bassist. We thought it was original guitarist Donnie Steele that was going to continue to play bass for the band as he filled in for a bunch of tour dates. Well according to MetalChapel, Donnie Steele is not the bassist in the video for The Devil In I which was released yesterday (September12TH). They did some careful detective work and came upon a match when they spotted a hand tattoo that they had seen before. The hand tattoo led the sleuth’s to discover that it was Alessandro ‘Vman’ Venturella, a one time guitar tech for Mastodon, Coheed & Cambria, and Fightstar. Venturella was also in his own band known as Krokodil. So, if you take a look at the picture to the right of this paragraph, you’ll notice the matching hand tattoos and if you look at the picture below, you’ll see the hand tattoo once again. Now, if we could only figure out who is behind the kit for Slipknot, then we would be all set.

Venturella
