Paris-Bataclan-21The one thing you hope and pray for when you go to a concert is that nothing bad will happen to when you are there. We all have the right to enjoy ourselves whether it be at a concert, movie, party, etc. There is no reason when you are attending an event that you should have to worry about whether you are going to live or die. Tonight in Paris, France on Friday The 13TH, a number of people have died due to terrorists attacks and some of those that were killed were attending an Eagles Of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan music venue that the band was performing at. According to Loudwire.com, “a number of people were slain and held hostage at the Bataclan theater. Police eventually stormed the venue and CNN is now reporting that 118 people were killed at the Paris concert hall alone. A soccer stadium and a Cambodian restaurant are also among the other locations that were targeted in the attacks.” Apparently as the show started, the band had posted a pic of the band performing at the venue, but when the mayhem broke out they posted a a statement that read, “We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.” The band features Jesse Hughes and Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Joshua Hommes, but according to a report, Hommes did not join the band on the European trek. I hope to hear more information on the situation and as soon as I find out more info, I’ll be sure to let you know. Our Thoughts and Prayers are will all the victims and their families in France. Nos pensées et prières sont avec vous tous.
