brent morinFor today’s Tuesday Stand Up special, I decided to continue my quest for new comedy blood that may not be new to you, but it certainly is for me. Netflix has been known over the past couple of years for producing some great comedy specials and so it was an easy decision for me to choose Brent Morin’s comedy special. For those of you who do not know who Brent Morin is, he is a comedian known for his work on the show Undateable. Brent Morin: I’m Brent Morin is is his very first one hour comedy special and he teamed up with a winner in Netflix. In the special, he tackles everything from the audience, his dating life, being dumped for a magician, things hot guys can get away with, Brad Pitt, his father, how being drunk today can ruin your life, school, having a hard on during a test, dating a 22 year old at 17, crazy things that happen to kids at school, his future kids, and so much more.

brent 2I’m trying to come up with a list of contenders for Stand Up Comedy Special of the year when it comes time for The Monster Entertainment Awards and Brent Morin has just made it harder to choose the nominees. This comedy special is very funny and Brent Morin is hilarious, but for good reasons. Brent tackles topics that are prevalent to today and guys can relate to what he is talking about. He admits during the special that he is a single guy and the possibilities that can happen when you hook up with someone can be scary. Now, I ask you who doesn’t relate to that? One of my favorite bits from the show had to be when he was talking about his future kids cause it’s downright hilarious tat he would take the time to think of this. One of the other funny moments of the show had to do with the teenage him and his boner while taking a test and his time with his 22 year old girlfriend. It’s hilarious because if you’re a guy you can relate to it or at least I can to some of it. Is it the best comedy special that I have seen all year round? I’m not sure about that right now, but he deserves some credit. I am giving the comedy special an A- for a final grade. Check it out on Netflix right now!
