The-Ghost-InsideBack in November of 2015, The Ghost Inside were involved in a bus accident outside of El Paso, Texas when their bus collided with a semi-truck. Most of the band members suffered serious injuries during the crash had to be taken to a hospital via helicopter. We have an update now on Guitarist Zach Johnson who had to have a couple of toes removed due to the accident. I will warn all of you that if you can’t take images like this then be forewarned that it looks gruesome. To see the image, please click this link.  I wish the band a safe and speedy recovery and hopefully we can see them on the road again in the future.

20130712-phil-anselmo-306x306-1373646895The ever outspoken former lead singer of Pantera/current Down singer Phil Anselmo is in some troubled waters as of late. During the Dimebash that happened last week Phil can be heard saying white power and giving the white supremist salute during the show. Now here is my issue with it, this isn’t the first time that he has done this. As we all know, he is very outspoken almost like a foot in the mouth kind of guy. Back when Superjoint Ritual were touring Ozzfest, he made some racist comments during the band’s set in Mansfield, MA. I know that because I was there and witnessed it first hand. Phi responded to the sentiment on Housecore Records Youtube page saying:

Ok folks, I’ll own this one, but dammit, I was joking, and the “inside joke of the night” was because we were drinking f—ing white wine, hahaha…
Of all f—ing things.
Some of y’all need to thicken up your skin.
There’s plenty of f—ers to pick on with a more realistic agenda.
I f—ing love everyone, I f—ing loathe everyone, and that’s that.
No apologies from me.

Sad to say, but this is just Phil being Phil and there is nothing you can do about it.

hellyeah2014lineupwbrady_638If you are a fan of Hellyeah then get ready for some news that the band just delivered. Hellyeah is going to be releasing a new DVD and they just set up a new Pledgemusic account to raise money to record a new album that would be the follow up to Blood For Blood. The name of the DVD is called We’re All In This Together and it was recorded during the band’s tour of Australia back in 2015. Some of the prizes you can get by donating money to the band is a gig-played drum set from Vinnie Paul that is going for $30,000, various autographed items, personal voice messages from band members, and so much more. To check out their Pledgemusic page, go here. Tom Maxwell talked about the new record saying, “It’s all coming along great. There’s a lot of new stuff coming out that we’ve never tried before, and a lot of heavy s–t.” Chad Gray added, “There’s definitely been a change. It’s definitely not the same, but that would be boring if it was the same. Whatever you do; tune in here, pre-order the record and keep coming to the shows.” Check out the trailer to the DVD here, and stayed turned for more info as it comes.
