The world has lost yet another legend, but this time it was a genius behind the scenes that the world lost. George Martin, the legendary producer of The Beatles passed away away peacefully at his home at the age of 90 on Tuesday (March 8, 2016). That was information according to and courtesy of Adam Sharp, the founder of C A Management who represented Sir George Martin. With George Martin, The Beatles changed the face of popular music and the way it was done as the two had 23 number one hits hich to me is a proven track record. He also worked on the critically acclaimed and Academy Award Nominated film A Hard Day’s Night, but The Beatles weren’t the only blokes that he worked with. George Martin also worked with the likes of Peter Sellers, Shirley Bassey, America, Cheap Trick, Jeff Beck and Celine Dion to name a few. Paul McCartney once said this about George Martin, “If anyone earned the title of the fifth Beatle it was George. From the day that he gave The Beatles our first recording contract, to the last time I saw him, he was the most generous, intelligent and musical person I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.” Ringo Starr took to Twitter and said this, “God bless George Martin peace and love to Judy and his family love Ringo and Barbara George will be missed xxx.” R.I.P. Sir George Martin (January 3, 1926-March 8, 2016).
