I have once again decided to give you guys two single of the week posts with this one being the metal side. Yesterday, I chose a music video from what I believed was the only project that former Slipknot/Murderdolls/Scar The Martyr drummer Joey Jordison had on his plate. You can’t imagine how completely surprised I was today to find out that he had another band that was more of a supergroup than the other. So, besides the fact that he has the band Vimic, he now has the project Sinsaenum which features members of Daath, Mayhem, and Dragonforce in the band. The band features bassist Frederic Leclercq (Dragonforce), vocalist Attila Csihar (Mayhem, Sunn O)))), vocalist Sean Zatorsky (Daath, Chimaira), and guitarist Heimoth (Seth). The band has unleashed the track and video for Army Of Chaos which is featured on their upcoming record Echoes of the Tortured which comes out July 29TH. The track is groove oriented metal madness with those fierce vocals that remind you of Behemoth and Satyricon (due to the two vocalists) while the music is similar to the Fuel For Hatred era Satyricon and Destroyer 666 which is awesome. I wouldn’t mind seeing this project tour, but only time will tell what happens. Leclercq talked about the project saying, “I wish to take the listener on a journey. Everything is interconnected, so you may pick particular songs, but it’s meant to be listened to as a whole. Today with iTunes and whatnot, people are choosy, whereas this is supposed to be an all-encompassing experience, forcing you to take it in as one piece of art, which is because I come from a time when you still put on a record and stuck to it until it was over.” Check it out below:
