As promised, here is your second single of the week, but this time from the rock side of life. Airbourne have always been one of those bands that I enjoyed listening to because they brought that high octane sweaty styled rock and roll to the table much like the other legendary rock band from Australia in AC/DC. The band is now gearing up to release their fourth album Breakin’ Outta Hell via Spinefarm Records which will also be the band’s first since leaving Roadrunner Records. The album is expected to drop in stores and online on September 23RD to help prepare you for the mayhem, the band has unleashed the title track for all to consume. If you love the fast paced, big riff, arena rock styled music, then you are going to love this track. Joel O’Keeffe talked about the track saying, “We get a lot of feedback from our fans saying how much they love the faster tracks. But when they play them in the car… well, it can be tough on their pocket with all the speeding fines! ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’ is definitely one of THOSE numbers… even the guys who filmed the lyric video were stopped by the police and given a fine.” He talked about the lyric video saying, “For us, these visuals really sum up the feeling behind the song and the album, too. The whole message is right there. Put on the single, or the album, and it’s, ‘F–k the boss and f–k all the tax I owe. I’m going out, I’m getting pissed and I’m going to listen to some hard rock ‘n’ roll.’ No ballads, no bulls–t. I’m breaking out of Hell!”
