It’s not time for a new Single Of The Week, but I just couldn’t wait to post this on the blog for all of you to listen to. One of my favorite thrash metal acts in Testament have announced that they are going to be releasing their 11TH studio album in Brotherhood Of The Snake via Nuclear Blast on October 28TH. It’s crazy to think that 30 years ago the band released The Legacy, but they’ve been kicking ass since then and to get you ready for the release of the album the band has unleashed the title track for all of us to enjoy. If you love classic sounding Testament with those nasty kick drums accents, face melting riffs, and some guttural mayhem from Chuck Billy then you are going to love this new track. Chuck talked to ARTE Concert about the new album saying, “It was probably the most difficult record we’ve ever done. But I think, at the end of the day, it’s one of the most creative ones, actually. Maybe it was because we had so much time with it. Like they say — anything comes that is good isn’t easy. That’s how it works. I’m proud of it. Me and Eric, we’ve had our battles for a year and a half. But at the end of the day, we’re high-fiving. It’s all good.” To check out some cool pre-order packages, click here otherwise check out the lyric video below:
