SevendustAlliseeiswarOne of my favorite bands to emerge from the Nu-Metal scene was always the very talented Sevendust who have been soldiering on the scene as road warriors since 1994. 12 studio albums later and the band continues to persevere with a tour announced in 2019 in support of their latest effort All I See Is War. After having already released a single earlier in the year in the track Dirty, the band has now unleashed their latest in music video form for the track Unforgiven and its this week’s Rock Video Of The Week. The band talked about the video saying the concept of it was, “the world is rebuilding and the youth will be the ones to keep mankind going long after the adults are no longer around.” Lajon commented on the experience of working on the video with director Scott Hansen saying, “The ‘Unforgiven’ video was a great experience for me. I loved working with everyone on that shoot. It was like being in a movie for real and I hope we can do something like that again.” Lajon was one of the most sincere individuals I ever had the pleasure of interviewing and it shows when he talks about the band celebrating 25 years together next year saying, “I feel very blessed and fortunate, I could never take this for granted, to still be relevant in the music business. I don’t say fans, I say our family. They’re the reason we’re still here. We have a job to do.” Check out the video below:
