Alright we are back with Movie Trailers part three where I review some of the new trailers that are out there of upcoming films. They are starting to release a lot of trailers for films expected by summer 2016 and I am anxious to review them. Here are the trailers:

Zoolander 2– By the time of the release of this film, it’ll be 15 years since the release of the original one. They’re basically doing what Jim Carey and company did with Dumb And Dumber To and I am not 100% sure I think this film will be worth watching. The first film was so stupid that it was brilliant and I am not sure having Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Will Ferrell back will change how I feel. Although having Benedict Cumberpatch in it makes the film interesting. Expect this one to be released in February of 2016.

Now You See Me: The Second Act– Naturally I was a huge fan of the first film and according to Dave Franco on Facebook if this does well they can give the third film in the trilogy. The trailer alone just makes me want to see this film and they’ve added Daniel Radcliffe to the fold. So, I am definitely going to be all over this one when it comes out in June of 2016.

How To Be Single– Another film that comes out in February, but I have to be honest, I am not sure if I am even going to see this. This is obvious a chick flick comedy starring Dakota Johnson and the funny Rebel Wilson (who I love) about a girl recently single who has to learn to be single again in New York City.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens– I have tried to stay away from watching trailers for this film, but I couldn’t help watching this 60 second TV spot from Disney. This film looks like it’s going to be epic and I cannot wait to see Kylo Ren on screen. Be there or be square.

Gods Of Egypt– This film has the markings of failure written all over it, but I will admit that it is visually stunning so there’s a chance this could be a decent film. I just have a hard time imagining Gerard Butler as an Egyptian God. The film comes out in February 2016

The Divergent Series: Allegiant– I have seen the first two films of this series so it’s more than likely that I am going to see this one when it comes out in March 2016. Our favorite characters make it outside the wall only to discover that they were guinea pigs who are now going to be destroyed because some scientists feel the system in there city failed.

Triple 9– I had never heard about this film, but after watching this trailer I am hooked and cannot wait to see this. It’s apparently about some cops and a gang who kill a cop in order to pull off a huge heist. Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer, Norman Reedus, Anthony Mackie, Kate Winslet, and so many more star in this film.

87th Oscars.jpgTonight is the 87TH Academy Awards and it wouldn’t be the Academy Awards without some snubs and other controversies thrown in the mix. American Sniper is up for best picture, but Clint Eastwood did not get a nod for best director. Furthermore, The Lego Movie has a song that is up for best original song for Everything Is Awesome, best the film is not up for Best Animated Film. Overall, Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel received the most nominations with nine while The Imitation Game received eight. It’ll definitely be interesting to see if there are any controversial picks or actors you believe are going to win that continued to get snubbed like Leonardo DiCaprio. Below I am going to list the categories that I feel are the more important ones of the night and the only ones I will be predicting. The film that I believe will win will be highlighted in Red. justin linApparently, the saga of the new Star Trek movie which has already lost two directors with Robert Orci being the latest to quit the project while J.J. Abrams was forced to quit due to his commitment to the Star Wars franchise. Paramount Pictures announced that Justin Lin, the man behind four sequels in the Fast And Furious franchise (He directed parts three through six) is taking the helm on the USS Enterprise. The only question at hand is how are fans of the franchise (they are diehards) going to react to the hiring of Lin. David Ellison and Skyline Prods will be producing the film alongside Abrams and Orci, but Paramount has not yet established a release date for Star Trek 3. Stay tuned here for more info as it becomes available to us.

aaApparently, some information may have been released through the recent Sony hacking incident, but it looks like Marvel Comics and Sony Pictures have come to an agreement over the use of Spider-Man in the future. While Marvel is being successful and deep in phase 2 of their Marvel Cinematic Universe, one character was a key factor in the next installment of Captain America and how they want to explore the Civil War story. Spider-Man is a very key figure in that storyline to the point that the two companies have agreed to some terms according to a source of mine. Here is what the two companies agreed to according to Nerdreport.com, “Sony had negotiated a deal with Marvel to produce the Spider-Man movies and STILL retains the production rights to the Spider-Man films and merchandise that come from it (i.e. Sony keeps profits from the black guy, blue-glowy Electro, but Marvel can keep all the profits from the white guy, yellow and green Electro). But Sony had been stingy with releasing the rights because, well, Sony wants all the money (same goes for 20th Century Fox’s ownership of the X-franchise, but that’s another article).” If this is true we could see something very special in the film so let me explain. Spider-Man apparently is one of the guys that agrees with the act where the public has a right to know the secret identities of the superheroes and he reveals himself to the public and in turn he gets a new modernized suit thanks to Iron Man. I am super excited over this news more than anything else.

Check out this trailer below to a film that is actually going to see the light of day that stars James Franco and Jonah Hill in True Story:

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson recently shared an image of Benedict Cumberpatch in what appears to be a poster of some sort as Doctor Strange. Check it out below:
