sixth-annual-monster-entertainment-awardsIt’s that time of the year, it’s award season which can only mean one thing and that the Sixth Annual Monster Entertainment Awards is here. We have the usual categories for you guys like Bad Ass Movie Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Horror Film Of The Year, but we also have some new ones for you guys this year. We have new categories like Netflix Show Of The Year, Metal Music Video Of The Year, Rock Music Video Of The Year, Metal Single Of The Year, and Rock Single Of The Year to name a few. This year is definitely going to be better than ever and once again we are also teaming up with Mr. X’s Punchout Blog where they have Male and Female Wrestler Of The Year as well as some new ones like Match Of The Year and many more. The beautiful part of these awards is that you the fans get to pick who you want to win each category as always and that is what is beautiful cause your voice will be heard and it won’t be hacked by Russians cause Archer is on the case. What we have for you right here is the music side of the awards so check out all the categories, vote wisely, and you have until January 29TH to do so.

I have once again decided to give you guys two single of the week posts with this one being the metal side. Yesterday, I chose a music video from what I believed was the only project that former Slipknot/Murderdolls/Scar The Martyr drummer Joey Jordison had on his plate. You can’t imagine how completely surprised I was today to find out that he had another band that was more of a supergroup than the other. So, besides the fact that he has the band Vimic, he now has the project Sinsaenum which features members of Daath, Mayhem, and Dragonforce in the band. The band features bassist Frederic Leclercq (Dragonforce), vocalist Attila Csihar (Mayhem, Sunn O)))), vocalist Sean Zatorsky (Daath, Chimaira), and guitarist Heimoth (Seth). The band has unleashed the track and video for Army Of Chaos which is featured on their upcoming record Echoes of the Tortured which comes out July 29TH. The track is groove oriented metal madness with those fierce vocals that remind you of Behemoth and Satyricon (due to the two vocalists) while the music is similar to the Fuel For Hatred era Satyricon and Destroyer 666 which is awesome. I wouldn’t mind seeing this project tour, but only time will tell what happens. Leclercq talked about the project saying, “I wish to take the listener on a journey. Everything is interconnected, so you may pick particular songs, but it’s meant to be listened to as a whole. Today with iTunes and whatnot, people are choosy, whereas this is supposed to be an all-encompassing experience, forcing you to take it in as one piece of art, which is because I come from a time when you still put on a record and stuck to it until it was over.” Check it out below:
