As apart of the observance of the best month and holiday in the word besides Christmas, we are once again celebrating the month of October and Halloween with the horror/Halloween inspired posts. Nothing represents Halloween better than Ghost and Roky Erickson as both do their best to spook people out with their music, but Roky was that paranoid. I mean the man wrote I Walked With A Zombie, Night Of The Vampire, and the song that has brought us to this point If You Have Ghosts. When Roky wrote the song, he may have been reflecting on old age and the mistakes that humans never learn even though the ghosts are there in their lives. The band Ghost B.C. takes the song and they make it more eerie than the song ever was, but musically it’s touched up and more polished than the original version. One oft he big reasons for that could be the fact that Dave Grohl did an amazing job producing the song and add a little bit of the band’s magic in there as well. This is definitely one of my favorite songs on the If You Have Ghost EP besides the ABBA cover the band does as well. I look forward to whatever else the band puts out in the future, but for now check out the track below and get familiar with Ghost if you haven’t already.
