Jamie Lee Curtis is such an iconic actress in the world of slasher horror because even though her mother Janet Leigh could arguably be the first scream queen, Jamie made the term iconic with her performance in Halloween. We reviewed Halloween Ends earlier in the month and after listening to an interview she had with Mick Garris, I decided to check out a film she did after Halloween in 1980’s Terror Train which was the directorial debut of Roger Spottiswoode (The Sixth Day). A bunch of college kids pull a prank on a student that goes terribly wrong to the point that three years later when they all gather on a train to celebrate New Years, they are stalked by a killer who is out for revenge. The film also stars Hart Bochner (Die Hard) as Doc, Derek McKinnon (Breaking All The Rules) as Kenny, Sandee Currie (Curtains) as Mitchy, Vanity (The Last Dragon) as Merry, Ben Johnson (The Last Picture Show) as Carne, Anthony Sherwood (Honey) as Jackson, Timothy Webber (War For The Planet Of The Apes) as Mo, Howard Busgang (The Funny Farm) as Ed, Greg Swanson (The Shape Of Things To Come) as Class President, Joy Boushel (Quest For Fire) as Pet, and David Copperfield as the Magician.
